Orthopaedics is a Latin word meaning ‘ straight child’. This speciality deals with diseases of bones, joints and ligaments. Bones are attacked either by infection, trauma or tumours. Each category has its own methodology of treatment. Orthopaedic Unit in Swat Medical Complex was established in year 2002. After tremendous efforts we have achieved providing quality treatment, both elective and emergency, in this unit.
